Nextgen Software at SECICT 2024: Engaging with academia, civilian and defense representatives for cybersecurity innovation

Nextgen Software proudly participated in the 17th International Conference on Security for Information Technology and Communications (SECICT 2024), where we engaged in insightful discussions and forged meaningful collaborations with leading experts from academia, civil sectors, and defense.

This prestigious event was hosted with excellence by the Military Technical Academy Ferdinand I, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ing. Ion BICA, Dean of the Faculty of Information Systems and Cybersecurity 🎓, in collaboration with the Bucharest Economic Studies University (Informatics Security/IT&C Security Master) and the Advanced Technologies Institute.

A key highlight of our involvement was the ongoing collaboration with Mr. Ion Bica, Dean of the Faculty of Information Systems and Cybersecurity at the Ferdinand I Military Technical Academy. His leadership and the exceptional organization of the event created the perfect environment for idea exchange and innovation in cybersecurity.

As a partner and sponsor, Nextgen Software is committed to advancing cybersecurity research, especially in the realms of defense and academic collaboration. SECICT 2024 exemplified the power of synergy between defense and civilian cybersecurity sectors, pushing forward research and development in tools, tactics and protocols.

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue fostering these valuable connections and supporting efforts that contribute to strengthening global and national cyber resilience.
