DeDDoS
DeDDoS – Innovative hardware-software anti-DDoS solution based on artificial intelligence (AI) is developed by Nextgen Software within a consortium coordinated by the University of Bucharest, with the Military Technical Academy “Ferdinand I” as project partner. Built to protect critical infrastructures and exposed environments, DeDDoS is an integrated hardware-software solution that analyzes network traffic in real time to detect and mitigate DDoS attacks through AI-driven analysis, static behavioral detection and validation in the ATLAS cyber polygon.

The challenge
DDoS attacks continue to grow in scale, speed and complexity, putting constant pressure on organizations that need immediate visibility and rapid mitigation.
Traditional approaches are often too slow, too fragmented or too dependent on external infrastructure. DeDDoS addresses this challenge with a dedicated, high-performance approach designed for real-time traffic analysis at 10Gbps and fast defensive action in operational environments.

The solution
Developed by the Consortium coordinated by the University of Bucharest, with the Military Technical Academy “Ferdinand I” and Nextgen Software as project partners, DeDDoS combines advanced detection logic with practical deployment value.
Its core approach includes:
- AI-based analysis for identifying attack patterns
- static analysis based on behavioral rules and patterns
- validation against DDoS scenarios generated in the ATLAS cyber polygon
The platform is designed to detect a broad range of attack types, including:
- ICMP Flood, UDP Flood, UDP Fragmentation
- DNS and NTP Amplification
- SYN, ACK and RST Flood
- Smurf and Fraggle attacks
- DNS Query Flood, RUDY, Slowloris, HTTP Flood and HTTP/2 Continuation Flood
