Nextgen Software is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. WCAG 2.2 is the current W3C recommendation for making web content accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities.

Current status: Partial conformance. We have implemented:

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Alternative text for images (98.5% coverage)
  • Keyboard-navigable skip link to bypass repeated navigation
  • Focus indicators visible to keyboard users
  • Reduced-motion support for users who prefer minimal animation
  • Accessible color contrast ratios meeting AA requirements
  • Structured data for assistive technology (JSON-LD schema)
  • ARIA attributes on interactive components

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts to ensure accessibility of this website, some areas may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Modal dialogs: Some modal components may not fully trap keyboard focus. We are working to improve this.
  • Complex navigation: The mega menu dropdown navigation may require additional keyboard support for full accessibility.
  • Third-party content: Some embedded content from third-party providers (videos, external widgets) may not meet all accessibility requirements.
  • Animated content: The homepage carousel uses animated GIFs that cannot be paused. A replacement with controllable video is planned.

Technical Specifications

This website relies on the following technologies for accessibility:

  • HTML5
  • WAI-ARIA 1.2
  • CSS (including prefers-reduced-motion and :focus-visible)
  • JavaScript (for interactive components)

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
